My Journey details: I started the journey from Kalyan Railway Station, boarded the first local train departing at 5:54 am, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Kasara Railway Station.
Upon arrival at Kasara, I transitioned to the next phase of my adventure, catching the MSRTC bus named 'Kasara to Akole'. Typically, this bus departs around 7 am from Kasara, aligning perfectly with the arrival of the first local train.
The scenic two-hour journey from Kasara to the base village of Bari was filled with excitement.
Arriving at Base Village Bari, nestled amidst the foothills, I geared up for the trek to Kalsubai Peak. Setting off on foot, I embarked on the approximately 3-hour trek through picturesque trails and lush greenery, immersing myself in the beauty of nature and relishing the sense of adventure.
Finally, reaching the summit of Kalsubai Peak, standing proudly at 1,646 meters above sea level, was a moment of triumph and awe. Surrounded by breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment, I took a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere before beginning the descent.
Completing the journey, I arrived back home around 6 pm, filled with memories of an exhilarating solo trek and a renewed appreciation for the wonders of nature.
